Out Of The Closet
I pulled a card for myself last week and it was "Come Out of the Closet".
It didn't feel like it resonated with me at the time, so I pulled another one.

For the love of God, this card isn't resonating with me!
So I didn't write anything for my blog, I got a little lazy (who, moi?) then it was my birthday, so I gave myself absolute permission to be a steaming hot pile of laziness, and then I just became "busy" (AKA: not making this a priority which my soul truly didn't like because it's all I was thinking about, but not making time for).
END RANT.
Cut to: I'm at the gym, walking (of course) on the treadmill listening to my girlfriend Amanda Frances.
If you don't know who she is. Stop what you're doing (after this blog) and give yourself the gift of a deep dive on her site. She is the epitome of all things I preach and teach. I knew people who thought and lived the way I did existed, obviously, but when I discovered Amanda (this was truly like 3 months ago), I was like YES!!!!! MY PEOPLE! But she can articulate it exactly how I want to!
Sorry, I'm back. I'm on the treadmill listening to one of Amanda's modules, and what does she say?...
"Come out of the spiritual closet!"
The clouds separated, the heavens opened, the sun was shining, the angels were singing...
I was like HAAALLLLOOOOOO! Bingo! Yahtzee!
NOW I KNOW WHAT THIS CARD IS TELLING ME!
It was giving me the "nod", the "go-ahead" to continue doing what I'm doing.
To keep talking about this other way of living and teaching people how to be the owners of their universe, stop waiting for life to just to "happen", and to stop being their own naysayer and the reason for their downfall.
Me coming out of my "spiritual closet" has been so rewarding for me because I get to reach people to live the way I do. To talk, act, think, and live life in the same way.
I can see the people around me changing the way they speak because they know I'm listening and going to tell them, "ah-ah-ah, don't put that in your universe", or "SEE!! You put it in your universe!", and when they change the way their speaking, or recognize that the things they're asking for are coming to fruition, they smile REAL BIG - and that's the point.
It turns out many people think the same way I do, but there're also a lot of people who didn't know there was another way of living, thinking and believing, and they're thrilled to have come across someone like myself who can help them completely shift their life.
That feels REAL good.
So, here I am, in all my glory, out of my "spiritual closet" helping and teaching people and loving every second of it.

How on Earth did I read this card twice, and not think it resonated with me?

Identify something you're insecure about or feel you might have judgement around
Journal the yuck out of it to find out why it's hidden in a closet
Do ONE THING this week to peek it out of the closet (tell a loved one, take a first step, write a letter, etc)
