Hi! My name is Aly, and this is my first blog.
I've always wanted a blog, but I didn't what to write about. Until now.
12 years ago, I had a major life shift.
I moved from Southern California to Chicago to finish college, and if you've ever moved to a place where you don't know anyone (or very few people), you know how challenging it can be. Right? Or was that just me...
I started to question everything and needed a little life help, if you will.
Thanks to my oldest sister, she put me in touch with a psychic / medium who helped me connect to my spiritual side; my "woo" if you will (thanks for the slang, Tonya!), and still does to this day.
Once I talked to her, I instantly started reading books and articles, watching movies and following social media pages about spirituality.
I got my cousin into the spiritual side (because this journey is so much fun with a buddy) and we started to say things like,
"Don't put that in my universe!" when referring to things we didn't want to happen, and "Okay, I'm putting this in my universe" for things we DID want to happen in our lives.
Let me tell you - the universe listens. It also doesn't care whether you want something or don't want something.
The universe attracts whatever you give your attention to the most.
But we'll get more into that later.
If you've been around me in the past 12 years, you've probably heard the phrase "... in my universe" come out of my mouth pretty frequently.
Instead of people looking at me like I have two heads and having me explain what I mean, I figured I'd create a blog about it and help people create their own universe.

- The Universe Is Funny That Way -
Here is where I'll share the humorous ways the universe shows up for us, and how we can turn those funny/awkward moments the universe presents to us into lessons.
My middle sister's always telling me that funny things happen to me all the time (specifically in airports), and there's nothing more I love than making people laugh, laughing myself, and making people feel good!

- In My Universe -
My goal is to help others learn how to attract what they want in their lives and be the creators of their universe. Through this section, I hope to share with you what is happening "in my universe" on a daily/weekly basis as we see how life unfolds together. Hopefully this will give you inspired action to do things in your life.
- In Your Universe -
You may not know this, but I love playing with my oracle cards for guidance. I plan on pulling cards and giving any messages I receive from the cards that I feel are a universal message.
What I intend to happen is that you will message me with a general question you need guidance on, and I can share it with the rest of the followers who may be struggling with similar issues (anonymously, of course).
- Manifestation Station -
My favorite thing to do these days is work on my ability to manifest. I'm actually very good at it.
I'm a firm believer in the power of manifesting, so what better way to keep this going by inviting you on my journey of manifesting to hopefully inspire you to manifest your desires as well.
I'll be sharing what I hope to manifest, my journey to manifesting said desires, and how it came about.
PUT THIS IN YOUR UNIVERSE:
Since I'm trying something that I've always wanted to do, but haven't made the time and have been intimidated, I challenge you to try ONE thing that you've been putting off (for whatever reason)
Tell yourself one thing you'd like to put in your universe this week. And believe it's already yours:
Need new clients? Intend it. See them signing up or already on your books
Haven't heard from a loved one in a while? Imagine them calling or messaging you
Want an unexpected gift? Imagine someone paying for your coffee, finding money, getting a discount or something even better
Start small with this but be INTENTIONAL with what you're putting in your universe.
As the negative thoughts or doubt come in, say hi, acknowledge it and then wave bye-bye to it as it CLEARLY doesn't serve you.
Now let's start putting things in our universe!
